This nubuck leather has a slight velvety surface, similar to suede. The watch band is made from sanded calfskin and is much tougher than suede, so it is more durable. A kind of vintage look will match your vintage or sport watches nicely. A huge hunk of wide leather might look awkward, while a 2mm slightly tapered strap may be the right choice for most office watch or casual jeans-and-T-shirt wear.
